A formal and solemn agreement between two or more persons to do and/or not do as specified within said agreement; the conditional promises made to humanity by the Creator and King of the Universe as revealed in the Scriptures; the agreement between the Almighty and the Israelites in which He promises to protect them if they keep His law and are faithful to Him forever in relationship as in a marriage covenant.
